At this time Vinedale does not have a PTSA Group
Learn about how our PTSA will be organized and how this committee will help make decisions for our awesome school!
Organizing a New PTSA
Along with our new grade and all of the other new experiences for our school, Vinedale is re-establishing our Parent-Teacher-Student-Association (PTSA). We are just waiting on a date to meet with a representative. If you are interested in helping, please contact our parent who is heading the operation, Mellina: mellinalathe@gmail.com
What is a PTSA?
Parent-Teacher-Student Associations (PTAs) are member-led, member-run school organizations. Together, parents, students, and school staff plan school programs, activities, and services to support not only the school and students but also its members and community. PTSA members also discuss ways to improve education, bolster the availability of the arts for students, involve the community, and, overall, create a safe and healthy environment, not only at the school but also the surrounding neighborhood as well. As their national website states, PTSAs today are "a network of millions of families, students, teachers, administrators, and business and community leaders devoted to the educational success of children and the promotion of family engagement in schools."
